Par 73 course set in undulating parkland with tree lined fairways and some blind shots. Some challenging holes that will test most golfers.

The course was in reasonable condition with good greens despite the summer heat but the lower lying ones were noticeably slower. With twisting fairways and mature trees, it is essential to take the right line on fairways. This course is hard in windy conditions.


Billingham's 17th - a blind tee shot followed by this view.The high handicapper will benefit from studying the yardage booklet to identify the risks on each hole. If playing in a strong wind, expect a long hard round.

Holes Of Note:

9th - twisting and undulating par 5.

11th - par 4 needing length off tee to clear trees on left and open up green.

17th - short par with blind tee shot setting up shot across valley to small green.
