Challenging golf course set in parkland close to Stressholme municipal but very different. Undulating with many blind shots and some hard holes.

The course was in excellent condition with consistently brisk greens and firm fairways. The parkland setting brings mature trees into play on many holes, demanding accuracy off the tee. Most greens have subtle contours and hidden breaks that can deceive a visitor.


Blackwell Grange's par 4 15th.The high handicapper is advised to put accuracy over distance, especially on the many blind shots. Water hazards are in play on several holes and should be treated with respect.

Holes Of Note:

2rd - short par 5 with ponds in front of the tee and the green.

8th - par 4 requiring a well placed blind iron shot from the tee to set up a mid iron to the green.

15th - short uphill par 4 over a pond to a raised green.
