A view down the par 4 16th hole at Cleveland Golf Club which highlights the industrial background.CLEVELAND GOLF CLUB, REDCAR

Highly recommended links course whose appeal is scarcely lessened by the industrial backdrop. Both fairways and greens are maintained in excellent condition and offer a testing but satisfying round to the visitor.

A view along the par 5 17th hole at Cleveland Golf ClubThe beginner will find this excellent links course difficult with narrow fairways and thick rough. However a consistent ball striker will enjoy a fair test of their skills on a fine links course. The superb condition of the fairways and the excellent greens are just part of a great golfing experience.

Holes Of Note:

5th "Gun" - a 558/527 yd par 5 dog-legged to the right, rough on both sides requires a good strategy to be well executed to reach the green without losing strokes.

17th - a shorter 512/483 yd par 5 down an undulating fairway that rises and narrows to leave 150 yard approach to a contoured green in excellent condition. Natural links rough and steep bunkers await the aggressive player!

Recommended Handicap 28
