DUMFRIES & COUNTY GOLF CLUB This attractive course uses the glacial contours and established double greens to great effect, sometimes with blind approach shots. The greens are in excellent condition leaving no excuses for poor putting. Highly recommended.

Ideal for any high handicapper wanting to play a proper golf course, this is a well established course with excellent greens and varied terrain. From elevated tees, concealed greens, tree lined fairways, to deep bunkers, this course is a test from our featured first hole to the eighteenth's blind tee shot.

1st "Dhucourse" - A short (291 yd) par 4 to a double green. Although drivable club rules dictate the tee shot must be played with a short - mid iron to the bottom of the hill, leaving only a wedge to a double green. Out Of Bounds to the right of the fairway shouldn't be in play.

14th "Wee Yin" - A 90 yard par 3 to a smallish target surrounded by deep bunkers. Getting up and down from these bunkers is not an easy task.
