MIDDLESBROUGH MUNICIPALOverplayed municipal course on the outskirts of Middlesbrough with a few interesting holes. Fairways are often indistinguishable from the semi-rough. Putting can be a lottery on greens that vary dramatically in speed and condition. The broken flag on the 4th hole has not been replaced in the last 4 years. |
Short with many wide fairways, this a course for the high handicapper. The rough is forgiving and the few hazards can be avoided. The course is heavily used and prone to being water logged so avoid after rain. Flat with few mature trees, this course is more interesting in windy conditions.

10th - Par 4 needs a long draw from tee over trees and stream to land on sloping fairway and enable short iron needed to hold the sloping hard green.
13th - Long (414/440 yd) par 4 with a drive over the stream and trees onto an elevated fairway.
18th - Short [450/487 yd] par 5 reachable in 2 if you are long enough to drive over the stream.
Recommended Handicap 28
