WOODHAM GOLF CLUBWe were not impressed by this course. It is flat and undistinguished - farm land turned into a golf course that is not well tended. The greens were spiked, uncut and covered in sand in late March which made a mockery of the short game, especially putting. Coarse sand in bunkers. Club members may become aware of subtle features that we missed in two rounds but the feature holes relied upon a short but dramatic ending like the 10th, 12th, or 13th. Generally unmemorable but probably down to the landscape. |
Holes Of Note:
3rd - dogleg par 4 that requires draw off tee to allow wedge to green set in trees.
15th - water hazards feature on this par 5.
17th - long uphill par 3 set in avenue of trees.
Recommended Handicap 28
